overhead display problems

I have no idea how to fix this thing...i have a 97 GC ES w/3.8 and 4 speed auto...i don't have a book, but i read somewhere to try the IOD fuse under the hood...the stupid display will cycle but won't show a temp/direction for just a second then switches to 8 and says cal in the lower left hand corner...and none of the things will reset...sounds like it could be broke...:screwy::repost::wtf:
