what do u guys think?

my friend got a 92 integra 5spd.. and lastnight out of the blue his clutch sank to the floor and got loose as hell.. can move it back n forth freely and when the clutch took uh shit he told me he heard something along the lines of discharge of air and fluid...but didnt see any leaking fluids. he drove the car home cause it was in 1st and would turn the car off to get it to stop b4 it stalled..i took a look at the clutch cable and its fine and the bracket the clutch cable is mounted to moves back n forth freely so im guessing something snapped inside or some shit.. i wouldnt know unless i tore the tranny apart and checked it out which he nor i have a garage and its colder then a witches tit round here..just curious what u guys think..thanks

ok so i went to check the car out just now in the daylight since my assumptions were all based in the dark of night.. and i gave a tug on the cable and the end of the clutch cable through the firewall came right out and i see the tab got snapped..no wonder the pedal has play.. ok so my question is... is it a bitch to replace the clutch cable? cause i actually gotta replace the one in my car since its for dpfi and is like 2 ft too long.. thanks ppl

Nah, should be too big of a job... Run the pedal side thru the firewall grommet, attach to the pedal, run other side to the tranny... Pay attention to how it runs from the firewall to the tranny... Adjust it at the tranny... And as an added bonus, u can use tie wraps to hold it into place, this will improve the feel of the clutch pedal some...

how many fat kids does it take to hook up a clutch cable?

dunno brian.. but i think this fat kids gonna have fun under that tight dash trying to fuck around wit this shit lol but if i get it done ill most likely get a huge plate of rice n beans n pork and lord knows thats alot of excitement for me especially wit a corona:icon16:
