Hey all
A buddy of mine has an Integra GS running a B18 engine (non-v-tech) and I was wondering if there is anything he can do to the stock vehical/engine to get better performance out of it without spending more then say $50 a part. A nut to tighten or plug to change, anything out there that helps? His idle has been a little odd the last couple of days as well when he starts the car every now and then. It jumps, sinks, then wobbles a bit between 1k and 2k rpm's. It does this till he's going then its fine. I figure its something with the fuel system, but I'm not a honda guy so I want a more experienced opinion. We already changed out the oil and spark plugs for high performance counterparts as well as running aircraft fuel instead of regular pump gas (yummy 105 octain. :licker: )

Thanks for any help in advance.
Cheers

Advance your timing a couple of degrees ..give you some more hp there ..

How do u run aircraft fuel in a car? Isn't aircraft fuel Benzene? Something almost completely different?

Maybe for larger planes and jets, but for smaller things like Cessna's around here its just high octain unleaded gasoline. We usually drive to the airfield after commercial hours and get filled up by a friend who works there. Its a buck a liter, but its worth it. :)
Not quite as good as the 110 octain we can get at the race track here though, we just need an inside man to hook us up. ;)

does running 105 octane even do anything on a stock motor? just produces more harmful emissions right? if you dont change the compression then what good does running higher octane do? or am i wrong?

Well better timing never hurts... it just costs more...
