ok....i was talking to one of my coworkers the other day at work about some cars adn he said that a vtec engine doesnt respond well to being boosted...he said it didnt work good at all....ive been thinking about this and it doesnt make any sense to me...shouldnt the variable valve timing help get the added air into the cylinders better, so as long as teh fuel systme can keep up, it should work extremly well....is he jus wrong or is there something else that im not seeing with this...does it work well or not???jus wondering thanks for any feedback

Not true. He probably read that on the internet; where BS information spreads like wild fire.

Is this co-worker an old guy or a young guy, I dont know what he is talking about because my car responds pretty good to boost. VTEC is good under boost to an extent......mainly there is a good amount of valve overlap, but its not a big issue, other than that it is boost friendly.

overlap is not always a bad thing. it is just harder to tune
