Replaced the CPI regulator

I opened up the intake plenum Friday and found a clean area around the regulator in the intake bottom and the regulator wet with gasoline. The drivers side was kinda greasy and dirty looking. I went to 3 stores and couldn't find the regulator at the "Help" display and no one who new what I was talking about so I went to a 4th store and found a catalog at their Help display...on page 100 I found what Rilth was talking about but they didn't have it in stock. They said it would be there Saturday so I bought it and they gave me a pickup slip. When I got back home, I put everything back together so the wife could get around.
Saturday evening after I got off work, I picked it up and did the replacement yesterday no problem. The motor starts at the first keybump..at 178K no less.
It's still a little low on WOT power but runs very good just driving around. I'm sure a fuel pump and level sensor is in my future...my warm future I hope.:)
I wonder how long these Help regulators last?
Sure is alot less expensive than my last CPI replacement...$47 vs $275.
Thanks again Rilth.

Am having the same problem with 93 Bravada. Does this mean you don't have to replace entire CPI? I'm a little confused. Thanks!

That's right, I kept the CPI...just replaced the regulator on the side of the CPI.
