Some of these chips add power? Curious cause i have about 600 bills to sped atm looking for a quick up in hp on my v6.

not a huge amount; probably not as much as you wouldve liked for the $ you probably spent, i wouldve substituted a timing adjustor for the chip; since theres really no tuning needed when your car has no major modifications

yeah i cant stand fords slow ass stock shifts. they also recalobrate your speedo when you get gears and all the other stuff. there really good for cars with nitrous

i guess since ive never owned an auto i dont know the advantages of having a chip to firm up shifts. but for the other things, why would the high cost of a chip be worthwhile; its not like its going to give you very much power. all the chip is going to do for power increase is advance your timing a little; why not just go with a steeda timing adjustor? what would be advantages of running a xcal for a nitrous setup?

you can make it run richer, program the computer to mods, and the best part is changing the shift points for auto's and making it shift harder. its good for nitrous because you can tune it for a 75 shot,100 shot, ect. inside your car

If i were to get this chip, i dont know jack about how to calibrate anything on the computer, could i get this chip, have it installed and tuned by a shop or something? Or would it really be that hard to learn, im pretty mechanically inclined.

never worked on a v6 either so like i was saying maybe its all different but on a GT for a perfectly fine nitrous install you would need a timing adjustor to retard the timing, colder plugs are preferred, a fuel pump, a window switch, and a purge. the higher you jet it the more timing you remove.

I recommend www.turbonator.com (http://www.turbonator.com) .. they supply these cold air swirlers that can give yur high performance car a 35% hp boost :D

If you check out the site it explains the theory.... they have had lots of feedback from ppl who have big power american cars and they have noticed a sudden change in performance... i dunno im getting one for my clio... but im gullible... it seems like a valid theory of spining the air... dunno its up to u wat u think.. im gunna get one... if it improves my mpg il be happy :D

I am callin BS.
By the time the air hits the runners, the air will have smoothed out by then. Plus, you can get an increase in milage and HP by a cooler intake charge(colder outside temp). Blanket statements are just that! Might I add, the unit is installed before you TB, what do you think the butterfly valve is going to do to any vortex? Its not like the gas is getting mix any where near where this thing is installed.
