I have always thought a nice newlooking auto bra was sporty but some of my friends differ on that.
Whats the group think? DO the look cool or real lame?

I've been wanting to get one. They help with keeping road debree from chipping the paint on your front bumper. While they may hold some moisture underneath, I really don't see that to be a big problem as long as you keep the nose of your car waxed. The only one I would actually buy for my bird is the one made by LeBra. It just looks alot sleeker looking to me.

I like them, I can see how they can be unpopular, but I still like them, they are an invest of sorts as I see it. In one case on as friends Ford Explorer which was like red or maroon or something like that, it made the paint under the bra appear pinkish, but he buffed it, and it looked fine after that.

I've always wanted to buy one, then put tons of those little chrome spikes all over it. Like that wrestler Chyna's bra. :icon16:

The only reason I ever had a bra on my '94 bird was when I crashed into a Jeep and poked a hole in the nose. It came off as soon as I fixed it. However, if you do a lot of highway driving, it is a good investment as I had chips all over my nose from driving the interstate every day for a couple years. The only one I would buy they sold at my dealer here but I forgot who made it...Im sure most dealerships would carry the same brand bras. It fit perfectly and didn't hold moisture as it was porous or something and it followed the contours of the nose well and the fog light holes were placed correctly. I wouldn't put one on just for fun though...

I would say that add a nice look and prevent horrible chips in the front of the car.. They do hold in moisture, but just as long as there are a few coats of wax underneath, no big deal... The fools that said lame are lame themselves...

Nah dude..they are lame...i own one...i only put it on for long road trips. Wouldn't be caught dead having it on while drivin around town. When i do put it on...maybe once a year for a trip...the whole world makes fun of it. lol...perception is reality my friend.

the thing i dont get is it for protecting the front end...but if you have it on no one can see the front end...a lose lose situation....but i mean if you have a nice set of headlights you might need to get some suport from a bra...haha that was lame .. bras are a def. no no

well, one of he reasons a 4TH gen TA stands out from a formula/firebird is the round foglights...a bra covers them and detracts way too much from beautiful front end.
