The arrow on daughters 94 GMC jimmy S15 shifting column arrrow doesn't move when shiifting to indicate reverse, drive, etc. Is there any adjustment to fix the problem. Thank you

On trucks like yours (1st gens) the indicator is handled by a fine steel wire and a clip connected to the side of the steering column shifter bowl/cowl. So when you move the shifter, the wire is pulled down or let up. 1st check if the wire is still connected, if so, pull on the wire to see if it moves the needle at all. If it doesn't or if it doesn't go back to P then you need to replace it. It's about 20 bux at your local dealership. To replace it, pull your cluster and remove the 2 7mm screws holding it on. Replace with the new one and reclip the wire to the shifter bowl. (You will see a little indent where it clips to)
