When it "Screams" is it more of a groan and does it bounce the pedal up and down? If so, yes, you're having probs with your ABS. More than likely your sensors need cleaned out or replaced. If they need replaced, you have to replace the entire hub assembly. Which brings up another possibility, it could be your hub(s). When you break, they are shifting and howling.
