Hello all,
I have a 1996 GMC Safari the van was running and then shut down
we noticed a burning smell so of course I removed the - battery cable
I found the 40 amp fuse for IGN 1 or A blown. I replace it and everything works but I cannot crack the van over I have checked all the wires from the steering column and they are all fine they have power to all the main wires that control IGN 1,2 ACC, 2 powers and CRNK, I have also checked all the fuses in both inside and outside . So I'm at a lost I taught it might be the fusible link but I cannot find it anywhere even behind the battery like they said in the forum here for the 94?
Any help would be great.
