how hard is it to change an oil pump

hey i just want to know how hard would it be to change an oil pump on 94 z28 camero.my oil pressure gauge is saying i have right at 15 psi(RIGHT ABOVE THE RED AREA)and my low oil light keeps coming on let i have no loss in oil.my moms bf said its goin to prob be the oil pump.please someone let me know whats goin on!THANX GUYS !

First of all, while a bad pump can cause this problem, it could also be caused by oil that is too thick or thin. Is the oil clean/fresh? If not, change the oil(use correct grade) and filter. Take for a quick spin, if that didnt fix the problem then you may need a new pump.
