I was just wondering? The glass fell out of my drivers side (LH) mirror. Can
I just replace the glass or do I need to get the whole mirror assembly. It's a manual door mirror on a '94 K1500 pickup. Also is my mirror considered "Chrome" or "stainless?" LMC has the whole unit for $29.99

There is a local glass and tint shop that replaces mirrors. It takes them about 5 minutes. The plastic plate that the glass is glued to will snap out if you know how to do it. I don't. Any heating elements (I think) are in this plate.
A guy I work with snapped one in himself and it fell out 10 miles down the road and broke.
I would recommend trying a local shop first.

Thank you I'll try that first.
