Is there anyway to make the acceleration quicker? Aside from getting a manual trans? lol With the auto it takes forever to get up there in mph, anything I can do besides getting a standard? lol Better ignition coils, ignition amplifier, better spark plug wires? I dont know...anything?

best way is to put the car in second gear so you get all the torque as possible. just put the gear in 2 and step on the gas its gonna fly

Lighten everything that rotates( i.e ligten crank pully).... Or for beginners start with your Intake, full exhaust with a 4-2-1 header which is for low end torque, high flow cat and piping no larger than 2.25" unless you plan on boost. Ignition is another good place to start, but there are some cheaper things before doing something like Nology hot wires, MSD ignitions, or Denso iridium plugs. ( yes i know these are top end products). If you haven't already, pick up your self the Prothane upper engine mount insert and lower mount. ( JBO has a nice group purchase for these right now through carcustoms.net) You may also want to try the B&M shiftplus or the autotrans interceptor for the 4t40e tranny's. Anything after what i have listed above your going to start paying top dollar for. Like you could pick up yourself some Motegi Trak-lites which are forged wheels that weight like only 14lbs per wheel. After that you have to dive into your engine or BOOST!

Thanks buddy, sounds pretty good to me, Just to give you an idea of what I already have, I got an Injen short ram intake, the Rkpsort/magnaflow dual catback, magnaflow catalytic converter, and Bosch platium 4way spark plugs, I ordered a 421 pace setter header from Summit but the bastards gave me a 4-1, should I sacrifice the money to ship it back and get a 421 or is the difference so little I should just keep the 4-1 header?

Try getting some 10.2 or 10.5 spark plug wires it worked for my 96 even though I have a standard. It should still work for you. Try looking on ebay. Where I got mine. Or hell get ya a 4, 2, 1 header.HEHE
