Hello.
While my supra is waiting for some wild idees, i've started a new kit.
This whil be build mostly straight from box.
Its a Citroën 2CV ( in the netherlands called: eend ( duck))
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/box.JPG

I've painted the wheels and the chassis.

I also started the engine.

From the looks of those wheels, somebody parks using the 'Braile Method' :icon16:

Nice progress so far, I look forward to seeing it completed.

I added the rearwheel section ( is the suspensionsystem is the simplest part of this kit, just screw together:grinyes: )

And dry fitted the engine, cooling and bodyshell.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/dryfit%202.JPG

On the background is (maybe) the next project:evillol: .

now the dryfit tryout feels OK, I'll glue the engine and cooling to the chassis and do some detailpainting.
I just have to find out how the sparkplugcables are assembled so i can add these.
You can see on the shell is still nothing done:jump3:

I'm a little shy to say this, but it's gonna be quiet aroud the 2 CV for a wile:disappoin .
I made a little mistake and forgot the put the bodyshell away and the children let it fell to the floor. No problem sofar, But our dog thought it was eatable:banghead: and destrojed the body.
So now i have to find a new body ( i still have some connections) before i can go on.

Don't cry, it will take a few weeks before the next update.

I'LL BE BACK:mad:

How bad is it? You could go far a "horrible accident" look. ;-)

Dont sweat it! Shit happens.

I found an other option. Building a kitcat.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/kitcar%202.JPG

I konw this will hurt some people very bad:evillol: . Using A '41 Willy's bodyshell to make a kitcar with a 2cv engine. But I'm dutch so don't worry:screwy: , next week they are comin' to take me away:rofl:

Here we are again.
The willy's body is sprayed in greyprimer and the holes for the rearlights are drilled out.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/kitcar%20body2.JPG

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/kitcar%20body3.JPG
The hole in the hood needs some plasicard to be filled.

And now to the real project!!!!!!!!!:screwy: :nono:

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/hakwerk%201.JPG
This is the big idea. A Citroën 2CV with a 383HEMI.

Th willy's chassis has been sawed to pieces to fit the engine into the body.
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/chassis%204.JPG
Enginebrackets has been placed to the front of the suspension now.

I'm busy with fitting the willys chassis under/ into the 2CV floor.
http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/projectchassis%201.JPG

So now you're up to date with this fine project:screwy: :banghead:

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10136/P3110003.JPG
