Idle problem with 95 wagon

:banghead: I have a 95 wagon with 130k miles that has a idle problem. When we start it, the idle will go to 2000 to 2500 and stay there. Sometimes it stays at 1500. Sometimes it is normal. The mechanic can't find anything wrong with anything. He is thinking it might be a problem in the throttle assembly but isn't sure. Anyone have any suggestions or similiar problems? Thanks.....

Hello Mitsuowner,

The first thing I suggest is you pull any fault codes that are stored in the ECU. It's easy to do, will cost you very little and will be valuable in the future!!

go here on how ---> http://www.diamanteowners.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=64648

Hope this helps

I can sign up under Mitsuowner's question. Same problem for about a year. Mechanics in my country suck so they just tell you to change this change that. I don't know about the "idle air controll solenoid " but i think one injector could be busted. I have 80k, 1995 v6 12v and besides the idle problem the car doesn't want to accelerate, so thats why i suspect the dead injector. How do i check th injector? I'll run the codes on monday hopefully.

Thanks for help.
