So I have a 1999 Chevy Cavalier, it has a remote starter on it. For the past month or two when i use the remote starter it takes the car some time to actually start up, when i used the key it didnt take as long but was still very hessatent. So I was told to replace the starter on the car, so i did. Now that the new starter is in the car wont do anything. The electronical stuff turns on but the starter never actually turns over. Is there something im suppost to do with the remote starter after replacing the actually starter. I just want to know why if i replace a starter that didnt work to well with a brand new one why the car wont start at all.:banghead:

when using the remote start has it been cold out the lat caouple of times starting it. then maybe the starter just took longer to start casue the battery only gives out so much power to it i guess. check the battery maybe it is dead.
