The "Fog" light?

what exactely is the red lens on the JDM crx taillights...is it just red plastic? Is it possible to paint a stock one red and have it look the same?

Actually, its the UKDM/EDM taillights that have the rear foglight... And its the housing thats red, the lens just clearish... Its also controlled independtly from the other reverse light with a switch inside... But what would be the point of faking that effect? I wouldnt even bother... The only ppl who would appreciate that mod (ppl who are into JDM) would probably know its fake, and the fact that it would be fake would just take from any potential value of it... If that makes any sense at all...
