ok got some codes on my car, came up with p1443, (PF) Check the voltage on the purge flow sensor.
Indicated an incorrect evaporative system purge control valve flow.
Anyone ever have this problem? Any clues on how to remedy it?

Yup, replace the little module that purges the evaporative canister...the one on my GT has been replaced twice in two years...Oreilly did replace it the second time under warranty. Its a small circular valve with a T connection on the top with vacuum hoses attached and an electrical connector on the bottom...it's located near the right rear firewall.

So i am replacing the valve itself? Around what price am i looking at? Could this have caused a slight loss in HP ? Seemed like it did with my car.

Also i have no clue where the Rear firewall is......assuming its not under the hood?

It is located at the back left of the engine compartment as you are looking at the engine from the front...you will see a vacuum hose coming from the fenderwell and it will hook into the top of the solenoid at the T-Connection. The other end of the connection goes to the manifold. The electrical connection is on the bottom of the solenoid. Mine was about $40.00 at Oreilly's...it was called an Evaporative Emissions Control Valve. Mine did not cause a loss of power, all it does is allow the vapors from the emissions canister to be drawn into the engine upon startup so they can be burned.

Ahh ok i found it, has a lil rubber cylinder around it, though what would be the reason for changing it, emissions?

Yes, it is emissions related...that's why your Check Engine light is coming on...it's letting you know that that part is not functioning properly. You may have to disconnect your negative battery cable for about a minute or so to clear the code after you replace the part so your Check Engine Light will go off.
