I want to drop compression for more boost

I'm installing a turbo on my 96 5sfe Camry. I've got all the parts I need to make it happen, but I want to drop the compression to run more than 7psi of boost. I'm also installing a metal head gasket to contain the pressure. I know it's better to get a set of custom made pistons to drop the compression, but that will blow the budget on parts and labor for this project. Is it possible to double the head gasket to drop the compression?

You've already got an aluminum head on an iron block. This combination has sealing problems in many engines owing to their differing thermal expansion coefficients. I doubt your proposal would hold up. Maybe someone else has a more informed opinion.

How much meat is on the head itself? Would it allow you to grind out enough out of it to drop compression?

Custom pistons? shorter rods?

Im sure there is enough metal in there to do it, but I'm on the last few dollars of my budget. That kind of work will break the bank. I'm trying to keep the whole project under 2 grand, for now at least. In the future I'm going to polish and gasket match the ports, knife edge the crank, blueprint and balance the whole engine, and maybe bore it out .020 over.
