Door Jamb Switch location

Hey everyone, I need to fix my door jamb switch so it reads when the door is closed. I have a remote start and my truck is a manual. In order for me to be able to "set" it to remote start, the door has to be closed. I looked everywhere for the location of the switch and it's no where to be found!! Can anyone help?

If you have a newer (1997 up) Ford product, the "soor jamb switch", is not in the door jamb at all, but it is part of the latch mechanism. The switch itself is located inside the door, but attached to the latch.

Oh, yeah, sorry...haha! I suppose I better tell you what I'm driving! :banghead: I have a 1999 Ford F-150 4.2L V6.
