I Want To Paint Die Cast Car

i have a die cast f1 car from burago,the f300 ferrari and i want to paint it all black like the ferrari f300 test car.remember is not made from plastic, it is iron.i will paint it with a spray paint.i need to remove the red paint?or it will be fine to spray as it is? please tell me exactly the steps if i am wrong to paint it like it is now...

first... get all the plastic things.. like light,windshields,seats..etc..

then buy a PAINT REMOVER..

after scraping the paint..wash it.. then let it dry... PRIME it...

then your ready to PAINT the new color..

how i remove the paint? can i use something that i do not want to buy? i am a student so no money :)

erm if you got any tools for example a file you could use that, you dont actually need to get all the paint off so long as the laqure comes off then your new paint will have somthing to key too, if you can afford like £3 you could jus get some paint stripper, that will get rid of all of it ! but you have to treat it before you can paint on it, hope tihs helps ! :)
