1997 ford thunderbird

hey whats up guys i bought 88 tbird while back and wasnt happy with the speed so i put bout 8k in it all togeather and i like the 97 tbird r these fast stock or another car that needs engine work to hang with the mustang gt camaro transams etc....

In stock trim they won't keep up with a GT but you'll have a great comfortable ride getting to where ever you're going.

ic... and im talking bout like 90-04 gt not the 300 hp gt but thks alot

They are a good amount heavier than the GT's and make about 10hp less but like 97bird said they ride WAYYY better and are more comfortable and I think a '97 bird looks WAYY better than the gt's. If you're looking for quickness a gear swap would get you going A LOT quicker and can be done relitvely cheap. You should re-program your computer if you did this. But I think with a good starting platform (as in a car that is in good condition) you can make a '97 pretty fast with not too much money (assuming you do the work yourself).
