Cold As F**k!

the high got to -9 today. with a windchill of like -25.
there is a warning out that the windchill is gonna drop to -45 or so tonight

not gonna work on my car until it gets to a balmy 20 degrees

i rolled around all day without heat in my car. in -9 degree weather.

haha i love cali weather, although right now its raining for some reason...i guess ill go drifting in the rose bowl parking lot 2morrow...

its sorta the same with us.. equal to about -25.. we had a flash freeze this morning that caused a total of 5 multi-car pileups or 30 cars or more, killing 5 or 6 people within the ottawa/montreal area (hour an a half drive apart).. there was one accident with something like 80 cars involved. think about that. thats insane.

None of yall live in Texas. Yesterday the high in my city was a humid as fuck 87 degrees. Over night it got cold and the high was in the 30s today. Tonight we're susposed to get freezing rain.

Its one thing to get a constant cold or constant hot, but when you switch from the 2 extremes daily, now thats some shit.

we had a really nice weekend and it was nice monday too but then it turned back to winter :(

yea it was -8 for a high yesterday here in South Dakota...got down to -27 without windchill the night before...with wind chill it was -43...so beat that!

I live in Nebraska and it was like 65 last week then the next day it snowed and now our low last night was -8 without windchill.

florida and texas weather are similar cause it was in teh 70's one night wearing shorts and the very next night it was raining and like 35 out and 35 to me is very cold so yea the consistancy blows ass

yea this year is f'ing weird. We are having the hottest january since 1932 here. Last week was great, it was like 65-70. Then on thursday....shit hit the fan. It dropped 30-40 degrees in 20 minutes....got a huge hail storm(golf ball sized), funnel clouds were appearing. I had actually thought it snowed out, but it was just a sheet of hail on the ground. It was wicked. Power went out at work and shit. That type of weather doesnt hit till spring time usually. I got some hail damage.....so thats more money for mods lol. Sometimes mother nature brings your day up. I was ready with the ball-peen hammer anyways, just incase i didnt get any. Ill fuck over insureance for an easy fix like that. Free money why not.

our flash freeze the other day was pretty intense. friday morning, it was about 30F with freezing rain/wet snow, and by noon it had gone down to about -20F, causing some serious wind and tons of snow. not to mention the cold. sideways, thats a flash freeze. so when people are driving between here and montreal (hour and a half on dry pavement) they get caught in this flash freeze and since the terrain is so flat, the winds pickup and blow snow in front of you so you can't see shit. so people don't slow down and can't see the road (i was on the highway and the ditch looked the same as the road).. so one person starts sliding, hits another, which is in the way of an 18-wheeler, which crunches them, and then gets hit by another car that was sideswiped by an 18 wheeler, and so on. all the wet snow freezes and makes for an ice-covered highway. its intense shit.
today isn't so bad, its only about -15C (i don't know what that is in F).. i'm just glad my car is safe and sound under its cover!

well it warmed up to +22F (about -5 C) today but all the car washes were still closed :(
i did get my window regulator fixed on the blue car though, but theres some delay in selling it but itll give me a chance to wash it this week. thats ok tho. got my nismo motor mounts in and my shift knob in, also bought a long awaited engine stand. just waiting for the goddamn motor. should come this week sometime. my short shifter is scheduled to come tuesday, and hopefully my FSM soon after. im still expecting my exhaust to come in a week or so. once i get the motor, im gonna order all new seals, gaskets, bearings, stock rods, forged pistons and go to work!

flash freeze sounds like it blows ass id ahte to be the emergency personel and people like that cleaning all that shit up in -20 weather. sucks for them ill stay my happy ass in florida and start going to the beach in the next 2 weeks. beach season opens back up march 1st which means i start working on the beach again march 1st. and congrats on all the new mods wish i had money to have a plethora of mods in the mail for me.
