I know on my 95 its in the center front under a panel that looks like a skid plate but plastic with one screw. I also think its says oil on the cover. There remote filters mine sits sideways in there.

Same as on my old 2000 Jimmy... pretty much directly under the raditor area ... hard to find I will admit .. took me like an hour searching first time I changed my filter too .........:rolleyes:

Yep, that's exactly where it is, just take a flat blade screwdriver, loosen the screw about 1/4 turn, pull the flap down and there it is. ;)
