I am in negotiations with a locel fiberglass company to reproduce my custom Firebird hood. It will be a bolt on gel coated hood ready for prep and paint. What do you think? Will it sell?

I don't understand the fascination with Chevrolet add-ons. The scoop you chose is from a '67 Corvette. While I understand the desire to "dress up" a car, why not use the genuine Pontiac hood? A "400" hood is much more aggressive looking, and VERY "Pontiac". I have much the same reaction when I see a "cowl induction" style hood on ANY non-Chevy. On a Chevy, it looks right at home.
Will it sell? Not in quantity. 400 hoods are being sold like crazy, and quality is a bit edgy. The market for this age of car is in the "restoration" field, MUCH more than the "modified" field.
Don't get me wrong here. It's YOUR car, YOUR money, and therefore, it should be done to YOUR tastes. I just figure, with the value of these cars sky-rocketing, wouldn't a Camaro be more up your alley? They're cheaper unless you want a Z/28 or a DOCUMENTED SS, and you don't have to change the way they look to fit your tastes.
