I mainly build Tamiya model cars and a few Aoshima and Fujimi cars, but occasionally i converted some Lima n-gauge train coaches for my friend into Breakdown and Laboratory coaches, so heres some pics:-

heres some more model loco pics:-

Class 15 Loco, built from a metal kit from ebay and painted, ends were smoothed with milliput:

Class 86 Loco, converted from class 87 with new resin fronts and painted, scratchbuilt top parts out of wire, brown insulators from the outside plastic wire(used old speaker wire), pantograph frame from old plastic sprues and etched nameplate:

Class 55 Loco, bought reject purple bodyshell from train fair, painted grey and white bands, painted white window surrounds and black roof, with transfers from specialist transfers. Etched nameplate and etched lights completed the model.

what these coaches need are some tricked out chrome alloy racing bogeys, carbon fibre, chrome exhaust and a huge GT wing...

But seriously i can admire the work that you have put into this, projects like these are a good thing to keep you sharp and not get burned out doing cars. I sometimes take a break from cars and do modern fighter aircraft and gundam models just to mix it up.

well I'm not a train fan (A quadzillion hours lost waiting on them) but it's really nice to see somebody doeing something different... I encourage and appreciate that a lot
