92 side door

has anyone had their side door jam if so how did you get it to open . getting my brothers van and its been stuck for about a year. tried reaching through after taking the door panel off but could not get it to release. was told i would have to cut a hole from outside to unlatch it any suggestions? thanks

Mine did that too. It may not be unlocking. If you have taken the inside panel off you should be able to unlatch or unlock it manually. I think I had to have somone hold the handle in the opening position while I kicked the door (near the back) and it opened right up.

Ford wanted $250 for a new latch! HA HA If you need to just go to a junkyard.
