There's a guy here at work, an older guy, who feels our Hondas are shit. I was checking out the pics we all posted, and i told him to line his VT Commodore up against my ten yr old 1.6 litre and he wont. He reckons he'd beat me too easy. Wait, didnt my car murder my dads newer model VX???? I think so...... oh well, I'll find him at a set of lights one day........ Lol, my car even has a higher top speed than the bloody VX's so a VT would be piddly. :rocket:

Please don't use graphic language in the titles of threads.It's nitpicking,I know ,but they pop up in various places around the boards(not just here, but in 'latest topics',etc)and some of the yanks tend to get a bit funny about it.....other than that anything is fair game in this forum except porn!;)

is it a v8 or v6... or supercharged v6??

I thought CRXs topped out at 210km/h in Si trim based on the ZC gearbox ratios.

Top speed isn't too impressive to me - most cars, Hondas included take more than a little bit of time to get there.

I'm tossing up the idea of a VL commodore turbo - cheap and will smoke most Hondas :)

On the topic of top speed.......I put some 15's on mine and went for a drive (on a private road with the owners permission in writing, of course) WOW!!!!!! Did you know that the speedo needle can get wedged against the 0 stop and not return!!!!!!!!!!

No the VT is absolutely bog standard exec. yeah my lil D16a8 pulls to 215.

a 2000 model VT V6 model has max power 147kw
V8 = 220kw

98 model V8 = 195kw
97 model V8 = 179kw

my mate raced 3 old Vt-S's in his old silvia, killed em, I can do in thos VX Lumina thingies and my mates Silvia, so a VT would be easyyyy
