1977 Formula

Just bought a 1977 Formula, 17,800 org miles. need to care for surface rust on hood springs?? and paint chip on air cleaner, otherwise 100% status...help

So all you're saying is there is rust on the hood springs. Well a good thing to do would be to pull the hood off and then get the springs sandblasted. Then you could primer and paint them whatever color you want.
