X5 Keys

Can anyone tell me where i can get cheap keys for the x5, i dont want to spend around 150 on the ones from the dealership....

only factory keys will work

Good question. I won a key on ebay and was told to take to dealership or find a forum that has programming instruction. Can any comment on this or help?

you need special tools to do bmw's along with others. when you order a key from the dealer it is already programmed to your car and cut as well the bmw only holds ten keys and when the dealer sells all ten keys you need to replace the computer or go to a locksmith with the rite tools to do the job.

But you don't have to but the key from dealership, you can by one from a bmw service or bmw parts dealer and get it with less then 150 euro.
