just an FYI. I just installed the "new" windows defender. M$ jsut replaced the win anti-spyware with it.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS.
I tested it out on my work machine. It is close to as bad as Win ME.
It does not update, it also will slow your system to a crawl. Once i removed it from my proc list, everything was working fine.

Why the hell would you ever "test anything out on your work machine?"
You should never TEST anything on a PRODUCTION MACHINE.

i tested it on my work computer because we needed to see how it would interact with our daily functions. im the guinea pig for new software.
that and i am set up to where if anything causes a screw up in the OS, i can just reimage it from the previous day.
