Hey,

I need advice on transporting my truck. I had a blown head gasket on a road trip and had to have it fixed in a town 300 miles from home. Now after only a couple of thousand miles it's blown again, and I need to get it back to the shop to have is fixed under warranty. The big problem is that I can't find an equipment company whose stuff is rated to carry a toyota pickup(U-Haul) or, their equipment can only go 100 mi (Hertz Equip). I've looked into auto transport companies, and their prices are like $400 or more, and I can't afford that right now, and on top of that, the warranty is up at the end of March. Anyone have any ideas?

Jeff

Rent a tow dolly, you don't really need a trailer.

yeah, i tried that, but none of the ones I could find thru u-haul or budget were rated high enough, only to like 3500 lbs total vehicle weight, which is weird cause there's only half on the damn thing.
