bburago ferrari f-50 1/18

OKay heres the story. There is a very cheap 1/18 bburago ferrari f-50 in my local hobbyshop cause it has a missing windshield.. Is there any ways i could replace this thing? maybe make it out of the boxes clear plastic?!?

I would use a clear film that is used in OHPs. Should be fine.
