ECM question...

The ecm in my car is the 7730, correct?

The 7730 was for years 90-92 because of the switch over from MAF to speed density. For 87 TPI you have the 7165 with the 27C128 chip

EDIT: That's only if you still have the stock ECM too. Easy way to be sure is to sit in the passenger side seat and take off the panel right above you feet. Then look up in there and you'll see a metal box, pull that off the velcro it's stuck to and it should have the number right on the front.

Thanks. Just gathering up all info for when i order my chip. You can find this number on the ecm aswell? Just to lazy to go outside and look for myself.

yep, there's a sticker on the casing.
