Chaparral 2D Daytona pics needed & ?'s

So I'm getting ready to start this Monogram curbside kit and I notice that the instructions call for painting the chassis and interior Gloss Brown. Is this accurate? I haven't been able to find any color chassis/undercarriage or interior photos of the 2D online.

So is the gloss brown accurate and please share any pics?! TIA.

Whilst I don't have any pics at hand I do recall the early Chaparalls were indeed a gloss brown and white two tone livery.
Maybe you could ask on the Yahoo GPMA group forum, that sort of thing is right down their alley.
