Check engine light on. Computer says Speed Control Circuit. Transmission staying in first gear too long. Where is speed sensor located?

Check engine light on. Computer says Speed Control Circuit. Transmission staying in first gear too long. Where is speed sensor located?
The speed sensor is located on top of the Rear Axle, it has a wire connector going to it and also has a protective metal shield over it. It is easy to remove, 1/2 inch wrench to remove the shield and a 9/16 wrench to remove the sensor. After removing the nuts and the connector, gently rotate and pull the sensor out of the Axle, it has an O Ring on it but comes out easy. Many times when the sensor goes bad, the speedometer will not start to register untill you reach 30 miles an hour. The check engine and check brake light will also come on. After changing it remove the neg battery terminal and turn the key to the start position, hold for 30 seconds, remove key and put terminal back on, this resets the computer....
