Buying 2002 Jeep Cherokee

Buying 2002 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0L ,I6, with 37K. Any issues or common problems for this model. What should I check before I sign the paper?
It is from the private party and I was told that for $100 I can transfer
7/70 Jeep warranty.

can't be an '02 the cherokee was discontinued in 2001

I would check on that warranty transfer. If true ($100) and good coverages, I would get that done.

Otherwise, try to have a trusted mechanic check it out beforehand.

agree it must be a grand if it is 2002... Not a grand fan I prefer the xjs over all

Yeah, the Grands are comfortable, but auto trans goes often.
