Power Antenna

I have a 98 eclipse with the power antenna and it went up and know it will not go back down. You can hear the motor moving but the antenna does not move at all. So how to you get in their you work on it? And what my be the problem with it? Is it just berailed or what?

Pop off the trim in the hatch and you have very clear access to it... One of the gears may have just broke or slipped off in the antenna assembly.

shave it and only listen to cd's very simple :grinyes:

i have the same problem with mine. i just bought a replacement off ebay and going to stick it in later this week. search ebay and their all over. the panel comes right off.

thanks. i just put some lowering springs in. i havent been able to take pics of it yet because of the snow though.
