Radio and Speakers remplacement...

I was just wondering what is the size of the front speaker in a 99' Malibu. I know that the rear one are 6x9, 8 Ohms 2 ways but before trying to play with the doors, I just want to know their size. Thks!

as far as i know they are 6x4's but you have to remove the entire door pannel to get them out

your front doors are 4x6 and the back deck is 6x9. they are not 8 ohms though. all car audio is 4 ohms from the factory is chevy vehicles.

:banghead: Door panels.ahhh... but I replaced both front and back with Infinity referance brand , they fit perfect, even in the front where it is hard to find the right dia. and depth so they don't scratch up window upon rolling up and down. they also have the tweeter on side,, not to sound like and ad.. also I got a great deal at circuit city, buy 6x9's and got 4x6's 1/2 off. excellent sound, I'm pushing 80 watts RMS..

I was wondering how, on the 2005, do you change the CD player and still keep the computer features? I know to get the installion kit and how to install the new one, but how do I keep all the computer and other car related things.
