So I've heard you could put all kinds of emulators on your PSP, Super Nintendo, GBA, stuff like that.
However, I was checking out some sites that say you have to downgrade your firmware in order for hack program called "Homebrew" to work together with emulators. But I also saw that some people said that it'll "brick" your PSP, which basically kills all functions within the PSP, hence the name brick.
Just wondering if anyone, or anyone knows someone who's succesfully put a emulator on their PSP, I want more detailed info on the process because I really don't want to fuck up my $300 peice of hardware, but oh man how sweet it'd be to be able to play Killer Instinct anywhere I want :icon16:

i was looking for them too and came across the same info you did about having to downgrade your software. i haven't seen anyone who has successfully put an emulator on a psp yet. i'm gonna keep an eye out for info though. i'd love to play some Super Mario World or Rock 'n' Roll Racing.

Ok cool man, any kind info is greatly appreciated. I just don't wanna brick my PSP, I'd choke a bitch if that happens.

but if you downgrade to v 1.5 then you won't be able to play certain games or use certain features. like doesn't GTA liberty city stories require software version 2.0 to work? and i think socom does too. isn't it kinda pointless?

Yea but you could always just upgrade again. I dunno about using a program to downgrade, I'm pretty sure thats what I read that could potentially brick it.
