Stock they are 275/40/17 all around.
Get widened rear wheels and you can get a 315/35/17 back there. The wheel needs to be an 11" wheel for that though.
My problem doing that is that I want to keep my stock wheels.

Nope. It is best if they are an 11" wheel to fit the 315's.
You can change the wheel without throwing off the speedo, as long as the wheel and tire combo makes them the same height as they are stock.

But that's just sacreligous, smoking Mustang tires on a Firebird/Camaro. You're not supposed to do that, it's in the Bible man. Like all good Americans Jesus drove a Mustang 5.0. Trust me, it's in the first verse or testament...or...uhh...chapter, yeah that's it, it's in the first chapter of the Bible.

Make sure when you burn the mustang you get video of it. Also, if you go much wider than 275 in the rear you run into clearance issues with the fuel filler on the passenger side.

Haha....I'll give ya that one. But as you know there are just as many hopped up Stangs like your Chick...oops...Firebird. I love the videos but we need to see MORE of the in action racing videos. Like the two with the white Bird and red Camaro!! It makes you feel like your right there.
