OK this is my first ever mod that looks nice. All i did was add some rims to this Maisto 1:24 Ford Explorer.
I want some ideas, what can i do to it? That is beginner and user friendly :grinyes:
Beware that the pictures are not that good. The car looks better IRL

You can always do the interior (a little two tone). Something simple. :)

You don't have to do the whole interior. Just the seats. That's very simple. :)

For now, let me sand it. Then i will have to take some pcis of the new setup in my room. Looks hella better

ok, what im gonna do is paint the car a candy blue. Paint the interior a gun metal gray, pop the rims on and be done.
For now i have some pics.
Fully Sanded:

The Interior:

The interior is horrible. The dashboard is pretty much a chunk of plastic with a sticker on it.
The back seat is kinda cool. The seat folds down =D

i remember that the newer explorer's seats fold down also. i played w/ that for a while when i was younger. ;) you don't need to sand if the paint was originolly fairly smooth. and if your gonna paint you should repaint the grille and bumpers to match the car. just a suggestion. good luck w/ the paint! i don't think you should paint the interior gunmetal grey. you should leave it as is but maybe paint inserts and detailing or something like that.
