ZC Head........

I have a ZC dohc engine and I was wondering if you could replace the head with a vtec head? I have heard that you cant but I thought I would still ask.

yes you can replace the ZC head with a vtec head....thats what most people do rather than buying the ZC vtec....by getting the ZC and adding a vtec head it will be more powerful...my friend has the ZC motor he was going to add a vtec head but he just decided to get the B20 vtec turob....if you need any parts for the ZC he will sell them to you for cheap......

So what head would I use? and does your friend hve a zc tranny?

is your ZC single cam or duel...and yes he has the ZC tranny...would you be wanting to buy it...?????

The D16Y8 ('96-'00 Civic EX) head would be the best....it would be the strongest for the ZC....let me find out about the tranny...give me a day ...and ill let you know....
