Rear brakes not working!!!

When i first bought my 93 jimmy 2 years ago, i noticed that the brakes were just OK. I could never get the tires to skid when ever i slammed on the brakes. I just recently found out that my rear brakes aren't working at all. I noticed this becuase in an iced cover parking lot, i slammed on the brakes and my friend only noticed that the front brakes where the ones doing all the work. The abs would kick in and you could see the front tires trying to slow down the car, but the rear tires were just rolling along.

I have new front pads on it and i also bleed the brakes too. I could not get the rear drums off at all! I turned the starwheel adjuster, and i still could not get it off. Are the rear pads worn down, or is it something else more serious?

Thanks

Lots of issues can cause this, start with getting into the rear brakes, make sure you have something back there to work with. With one drum off step on the brake gradually see if the wheel cylinder moves out, do this slowly not to blow things apart. Post back results.
