95 Jetta problems?

I still have this problem with my car! It drives fine 95% of the time, just sometimes when I dont let it warm up (5-10min at idle) it will die 2-3 miles down the road! no warning just dies. I pull over take the key out and count to 30.. and it starts back up and drives fine. It seems to only die when the temp gauge is not in the middle (or not warmed up)? HELP! the VW shop says that they dont know what is going on. They are NO HELP!...Thanks

sounds like it could be many things. I would say try cleaning the maf sensor and intake pipe/throttle body with intake system cleaner. Oil residue on maf sensor can cause it to no read properly and engine to stumble/ die
