Cost to Tint My CRX

Hey, I was wondering if anyone know hows much it'll cost me to get all my windows in my CRX tinted. I want a good tinting job too, no half ass stuff. I was also thinking about getting the kind of tint that reflects silver, that's some dope shieet. So yeah, just lemme know what you guys think it'll cost. :frog:

i got my civic tinted for $209. and the tint is lifetime warrenty, same with the install..it is good shit. I was also gonna do the chrome tint, i was gonna have chrome flames under the black....but the guy wanted $45 and hour to cut them out and it said it would take him like 8 hours or some shit like that...so i said screw that.

125 lifetime warranty regular black tint

$100 bucks CANADIAN for mine in just black
$150 bucks CANADIAN for my flame tint.

I paid 90 bucks lifetime warranty for 1.5% LT Limo Tint, but thats because I know the dood that owns the tinting place.

darkedst legal tint.... $195

1.5% LT is DAMN close to blackout... I think its legality varies from place to place.

Anyone know how much post-whoring I have to do before my thing no longer says "AF Newbie"?

I think I'm gonna stick with legal 35%, as long as it's not too light. I think I'll do the silver reflection. Thanx for the input. :frog:

I will probably go with the stuff that keeps out the sun best.

my car cost me $135 for a full tint of 5% all around, lifetime warranty, top quality tint as well.

whoever paid over 200 got ripped off sorry, the most i ever saw someone charge was 160 and that was for a suburban.

Have you all ever gotten pulled over? Or is 5% legal over there, cause 35% is the darkest you can have it legally, but I may want it darker than that. Will the feds be all over my ass once I do that or you think I'll be aight? Thanx for all the posts :frog:

I knew a few people who got pulled over for their tint being to dark. One of them got pulled over two times in the same day!

well my front is illegal b/c we are not alowed to have any on the frotn and my back is the darkest they had at the shop like 5% but i havn't gotten pulled yet

what kind of tint are we talking about here? Is it somethign that actually tints the glass like in a factory tint, or is it that plastic crap that you stick on your window?

I've seen too many people running around with purple windows and if I get mine tinted I want to avoid that.

tint is always some type of thin plastic. A quality tint should never turn purple, it will only happen if you spray amonia products onto the windows, so that means no more blue windex. you need to clean it with the green stuff with vinegar in it.

ive been pulled over twice for my tint, but that was only when i had my front banner on there, never been yanked since, those banners are cop magnets over here.

anyway, the fine was $75/ea ticket. i still have the tint btw.:D

yea, I am trying to keep my car low profile, dont want to attract cops. Havent gotten pulled over yet, but I am sure I will one of these days when I commute to college cause I routinely do about 80-85 in a 65, althogh everyone else is doing about 75. Luckily I dont do much night driving, or else I am sure I would get jacked for my windshield washer LED's cause those MF's look blue to me.
