02 T/A or 02 Z28

I have been saving my money and i can buy either a T/A or a Z28 from some friends for real cheap so what is better? I think the T/A is more muscular looking but Z is more classy. I belive they are the same car besides that so what should i get

trans ams are hot

IMO the 2002 Trans Am looks much cooler than the 2002 Camaro. I think the front end is much sexier. If you don't really care about the appearance take a look at both of them and see which is better equipped. That would be the deciding factor for me.

i like the t/a's alot better. at least the 98 and up, i love thoes t/a's but the 84-92 i like the camaro. And the 4th gen i like the camaro.

I think T/A's are to bulky unless its a WS6, then the curves look good on it. then again im all about camaros so i guess im biased.

I agree with Z28 Boy, I would get the TA if it was a Ws6 or came with Ram Air. I don't care for the TA's without the Ram Air though. But both cars are the same, except if they have aftermarket stuff, and the appearance obviously.

T/A man... they look badass. compared to T/A's 98+, camaros look plain. but decide on one that has less miles and feels better. same car pretty much.

Well i dont have either but if i was given the option i would go for the Z. It is prob the 35th anniversary so it might be worth more also. Also everybody around here calls ppl who have t/a's rednecks and stuff.

Get whichever has lower miles and stuff.. They both are basicly the same and also whatever has a better color that you prefer.

i like the z28 better...

in my opinion neither are complete... '98+ years only look good in SS versions or ws6.... to me at least... if i have to pick one it would be z28

The t/a is a ws6 but has like a 100k on it the camaro has like 50k they are both stock and almost the same with options. and i might sound stupid but what is so much better about the ws6 is it better suspension or more horses or both

the hood/ram air... its a few more horses, but mainly it looks better... if you can either for pretty much the same price, i'd go with the z28 since the miles... plus you can buy an ss hood for it, and put some halo headlamps on it... that will make it just as evil looking as a ws6...

personally i think the IROC look better then any of the new Camaro's and Ive seen plenty of videos with 3rd gens with juice mind u betting vipers n other shit like that

I know how you feel Dave. We get it bad because some consider the 3rd gen to be the weakest link, but they don't know what the hell they're talking about. Dave is definitely represent though, i can only imagine the expressions on the faces of people after they see those taillights. I plan to be there one day also.

I like the 93-97' z28's the most apart from 1st gens. After 98 they look too much like chryslers for me. It was a 95" black Z28 that got me hooked on camaros anyway.

I think seconds are cool. They got hit really hard with the fuel crisis. They pratically had any power. My 80 Firebird (which caught fire) V6 only had 105hp, that was heavy as hell!! My grandmas corolla could out run that thing. I just see nothing but 2nd and 3rd gens in the worst of shape. It's a shame.
