89 5.7 tpi roller?

I just bought this 89 iroc the guy kept telling me its a 4 bolt main roller motor like theyd put in the corvettes of that year is this true at all....roller rockers timing set ect....

I would'nt think that was at all right. I have owned a 85 IROCZ,and a 94,abd 97 . Any of the early f body Z28 was laking in something and that was Horse power.But that does not answer your ? but the later model Z were bad for just show room stock engine on the street.:banghead: :banghead:

The Corvette got the same exact 2 bolt main, std timing chain and stamped rockers that the F bodies got...sorry, he is full of it.

Dude your car sounds bad. When I was 19 , I purchased a 85 IROCZ.
It was factory yellow paint .Also a one owner .I should have kept that car for my son.Those body styles were very sharp.:shakehead :shakehead :shakehead
