from gs to gst?

hi, i have 99 gs auto, i was thinking to swap engine for 1g turbo engine and manual.i can buy rebuild engine with around 300hp for $2500. my friend tells me if i do that it would be expencive because i would have to change a lot of things, to make it fit. Can some1 pls tell me how much am i looking to spend to do this swap. and what kind of work. thx
