Questions on NX EFI kit as on 94 Accord DX

Hello, this is the first technical question I've asked on this board, but judging from some of the good answers on other questions I have high hopes.
I currently am driving a 1994 Honda Accord DX sedan. I have some extra money to spend, and I'm thinking of purchasing a NX Stage 1 EFI wet kit for my car. I'm also planning to buy the 15lb bottle upgrade and the genx2 kit (btl heater, purge, pressure gauge, nhra blowdown tube, everything basically).
There are a few things I need to know before I do so, however.
One of the main questions that has been on my mind is: Will I have to run premium fuel when spraying? This in itself would be a big turnoff to the idea, and I have seen sites that say I need premium, and others that say that I need only run the octane originally specified for my car. I think that the original octane thing makes sense, as cars that run premium originally don't run race fuel when spraying, and the difference between cali-91 and florida 93 is not mentioned in the NX literature when they say to run premium. I think that they are just covering their asses, but am I right?
Another question is should I change my plugs to one degree colder? I have heard a pretty much unqualified yes on this, but I'd like to be sure.
The final question is: What size shot should I run? Several people have said that they've been running a 75 wet shot on their f22b2 non-vtec engines for quite some time with no trouble, but other people have said to run a 50 at most. I'm going to run a compression test on my engine before I buy the kit, but my engine has 125000 miles on it nonetheless, so what would be a safe shot?
Thank you for your input on this matter. :)
